Vital Records of Leeds, Maine
Compiled by Marlene A. Groves
The area that now incorporates the town of Leeds, Androscoggin County, Maine, was first called Littleborough Plantation and was settled as early as 1779. In 1801 the town was incorporated as the 127th town in Maine, then a part of Kennebec County. The records in this book were transcribed from both the digital images found on FamilySearch.org and from the surviving original volumes located in the Leeds town office.
